ReplyDeleteThey are working tirelessly to make these marches successful and advance our movement for full equality. I am honored to be connected to every single one of them and they have my greatest respect for acting selflessly for all of us.
I think you are making a huge mistake in respect to your Chicago lead organizer. As someone who has personally worked with Noa Shayden, they are completely irresponsible, unreliable, and inexperienced. They owe Join the Impact Chicago money for refusing to return t-shirts they had printed which Noa took to a conference to sell to raise funds for the organization. That was over a year ago. Not only did Noa never follows through with task they volunteered to do but also exhibited extreme misogynistic behavior. If you continue to use them as your leader you will not get a very large response from the Chicago area.

The committee has received no indication whatsoever as to a wrong choice in our selection of Noa Shayden for the Chicago area Lead Organizer and we stand firm on his selection and he has the backing of the International Committee. With that being said, should any concerns arise with any of the Lead Organizers, the committee will address those accordingly!
ReplyDeleteI have personally known Noa for many years and have known them to be abusive and completely clueless and disrespectful to transgender issues, only beginning to identify as transgender when their partner did, on the verbatim given reason of "not wanting to be in a straight relationship, no matter what." The partner has since left and Noa has been compensating by involving themselves only in LGBT activities, something once ridiculed by this same person.
