  Hershel recently posted on his Facebook Page an invitation to his friends to "LIKE" and "FOLLOW" the Facebook Business Page of Oscar's Foundation.  Here is the direct quote:
    
  
  "I sent out an invitation for you, my friends, to like this rescue service for dogs. The two men who created this are friends of mine and are doing yeoman's work in helping abandoned and neglected dogs. It is sad that these noble animals are enduring such hardships, especially with such a history of domestication, them with us and us with them. I have long argued dogs and horses are two important animals that helped humans rise above their environment to the place we enjoy in God’s creation. They cared for us, now we must care for them, with gratitude and mutual admiration.
  They need and are seeking corporate sponsorship, and that is helped by the number of people who like and follow their page.
  So please “like” and “follow” their page. And if you have something you could contribute, make a donation.
  And watch their page. I’m thinking about a promotion. Stay tuned, stay safe." Just reading what Hershel said in his post allows one to see why it was a "no-brainer" Oscar's Foundation chose Hershel Franklin as their very first Follower of the Month.
