I am numb, bewildered, and I might say a little concerned that Oscar's Foundation could not meet the challenge by one of their corporate sponsors to reach a "Minimum" level of "FOLLOWERS" to their Facebook Business Page. It wasn't because the Foundation did not put it out there to friends and the general public, as during the recent BLITZ to reach that number, it was put out to hundreds, upon hundreds, of individuals asking for 10-15 minutes of their time to go to the page and "Follow" and "Invite Friends" to follow, there was NO REQUEST FOR DONATIONS, ONLY TIME! 👉 IF MET, THE CORPORATE SPONSOR WOULD HAVE FUNDED THE DIFFERENCE CURRENTLY IN THE "VETERINARY ASSISTANCE FUND" & WHAT WAS NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE PROCESSING OF APPROVED APPLICATIONS FOR ASSISTANCE AND 🐾 DOZENS OF ANIMALS IN NEED WOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDED FOR, AS WELL AS FINANCIALLY STRAINED CARETAKERS WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO KEEP THEIR OWN PETS OUT OF THE SHELTERS, WHERE MANY ARE AT RISK OF EUTHANASIA... 🎇 With this being said, I humbly appreciate those of you who now "Follow" Oscar's Foundation's Facebook Business Page, as well as put forth the effort to obtain multiple followers by "Inviting Friends" to do the same, as well as sharing the information! 💗 It makes my heart feel full when I see the animals in need taken care of with their basic necessities (and more), and for each of you to be a part of that in any way you choose, is icing on the cake as it allows the Foundation to continue their various Public Charitable Programs for the welfare, benefit, and care of these precious animals who are a huge part of our families and add such an important component to our overall happiness and well-being!
